The awards presentation dinner, a stylish and high profile affair, will take place on Thursday, 5 October 2017 at The Ricoh Arena and will welcome a host of sporting personalities to present each award. The awards night will be filled with fabulous entertainment from two outstanding hosts, TV Weather Presenter Emma Jesson and Sky Sports presenter Gary Newbon.  The room will also be full of current and former sporting celebrities to add an extra sparkle to the evening.

Each award category has a sponsor; a business who has strong links to the local area and who appreciate the impact sport can have on the community. Apogee, Europe’s largest independent provider of print, document and process technology and outsource services, has again sponsored the 2017 Manager/Coach of the Year award.

The Coventry and Warwickshire Sports Awards will also support Lord’s Taverners – a charity very close to many people’s hearts. The Lord’s Taverners aim to enhance the lives of disadvantaged and disabled young people through sport and recreation. They support some of the most marginalised young people in the UK by increasing their opportunity for regular participation in sport, encouraging volunteers and coaches and improving their overall health and psychological wellbeing.
