Apogee Specialists Deliver GDPR Strategies at Packed Leeds Law Society Seminar

Specialists from Apogee’s Forensic Technology and eDisclosure and Professional Services divisions hosted a seminar on GDPR to discuss strategies they can adopt to work towards regulatory compliance.

Specialists from Apogee’s Forensic Technology and eDisclosure and Professional Services divisions hosted a seminar on GDPR at Leeds Law Society to address challenges organisations face before the deadline comes into play and to discuss strategies they can adopt to work towards regulatory compliance.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new European legislation that will be introduced on 25th May 2018 and will force companies to tighten their data management processes and policies otherwise receive heavy financial penalties of up to €20 million, or 4% of global annual turnover for the preceding financial year, whichever is the greater.

The seminar drew full attendance, with organisations keen to understand how they can work towards GDPR compliance from a print and Information Management perspective.

The GDPR strategies seminar was one of four industry focused seminars Apogee are set to deliver in conjunction with the Leeds Law Society. The next seminar will be on 21st November, covering GDPR next steps and eDisclosure technology.
