Apogee Public Sector specialists joined delegates representing institutions and public sector organisations across the country at this year's LUPC & SUPC Conference.
The annual conference and exhibition took place yesterday at the famous County Hall, a landmark building located on London’s South Bank.
Delegates at the event were presented with the opportunity to hear from prominent speakers in the higher education and wider not-for-profit sectors, including Apogee’s Public Sector specialists, who demonstrated leading document technology and process solutions to industry professionals.
Feedback from attendees has so far been very positive, with many gaining insight into improvement and optimisation opportunities for their organisations. With GDPR coming into effect today, this was expectedly a hot topic for discussion.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.
Get in touch today if you still require guidance and advice to develop a strategy to help your organisation meet GDPR compliance before heavy penalties will be imposed.
