CFES had been suffering from excessively high print costs. The organisation was producing a large volume of printed documents and the company had a clearly defined need to reduce its costs.
The two existing devices were also becoming increasingly unreliable as a result of very high usage over a number of years. The company had become frustrated by breakdowns and problems, and issues with delays to equipment servicing and repair.
Through completion of a detailed requirements assessment, it was clear that there was very little scope to reduce output volumes, and the existing devices were no longer able to meet the intensive demands placed on them.
However, close analysis of the existing equipment identified that, with reduced volumes, these machines were capable of being productive, efficient and reliable and could be kept in service. Apogee recommended the installation of an additional new and reliable MFD in order to shoulder the majority of the load and reduce the burden on the existing equipment.
