Senior Team Leader – Warehouse (Witham St Hughs)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of our 100k sq ft distribution hub in the absence of the Warehouse Manager as well as managing one of their own teams (Goods In, Dispatch, Parts & Consumable Returns or Hardware Returns).


  • Responsible for all areas of the warehouse operation in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager during busy periods and special projects
  • Pro-actively report to the Warehouse Manager any issue that is observed or comes to your attention which compromises performance or customer service delivery in line with the continual improvement culture which exists in the warehouse
  • Committed to developing and coaching teams within the operation
  • Ensure that best practices and high standards are maintained with a passion for continual improvement
  • Be responsible for achieving targets within the team set by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Be responsible for the department working to the company’s health and safety procedures and ensure all working areas are kept clean, tidy and in a safe condition at all times.
  • Attend meetings and training courses as and when required.

Person Specification:

  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Previous people management experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Methodical and proactive approach to your work
