Remote Technical Specialist (Maidstone)

The Remote Technical specialist focuses on installing and administering Multi-Functional Device / Printer monitoring software installed on client networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing print fleet management application for remote monitoring in conjunction with client IT
    teams.
  • Providing technical leadership support for wider “Remote desk”.
  • Liaising with customers via telephone, email and live chat.
  • Collaborating between service, professional services and technical helpdesk.
  • Reconcile information between various internal systems and client networks.
  • Using remote access software to assist our customers in resolving monitoring software/network related issues.

Person Specification:

  • Technically proficient in network topology /server infrastructures / firewalls.
  • Understanding of network security and relevant policies.
  • Ability to explain convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Methodical approach with an aptitude for attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
