Marketing Communications Executive

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a success driven, creative and enthusiastic Marketing Comms Executive to join our Marketing team who has a real passion for communications. They will play key role to play in planning and delivering communications to key stakeholders, including press, clients, partners and prospects. The candidate will write, edit, co-ordinate and publish content across various channels, including our website, social media, email and print and online marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create external communications and thought leadership content for corporate website and social media channels that aligns to our SEO strategy
  • Produce press releases for external publication and help build and maintain strong relationships with key press contacts
  • Initiate a project to develop, create and release a series of white papers
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create client case studies – both written and video
  • Maintain marketing communications calendars and ensure all planned marketing activity is delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget
  • Ensure the adherence to brand guidelines, including refreshing marketing templates to ensure consistency across all external/internal communications
  • Use analytic tools to report on performance – supporting the analysis and evaluation of marketing activities to ensure key stakeholders understand the marketing performance
  • Spot trends and advise on best social media content and new technologies
  • Ensure and share best practice when using Social media channels and in the development and delivery of content
  • Develop and create content for internal communications where required
  • Other ad-hoc tasks set by the Marketing Manager

Person Specification:

  • Previous marketing experience in a similar role – ideally in a B2B environment
  • Strong copywriting, editing and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic team-player with meticulous organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and desire to consistently produce high quality work within deadlines
  • Experience using Word Press or similar website content management systems
  • Understanding and application of SEO in content writing
  • Experience of using monitoring and analytics tools desirable
  • Ability to adapt to new priorities and challenges
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
