To coincide with our growth plans, we are now looking to add to our very successful salesforce at our Head Office in Maidstone and are looking to appoint 2 Customer Development Executive to join our industry leading team.
Our customers benefit from a bespoke offering as we are not tied in to one or two specific suppliers, this enables our sales team to tailor make a proposal based on each client’s specific needs and have the flexibility and autonomy to ensure they can get the deal done. We work with the leading manufactures of hardware and software within our industry and the successful candidates will benefit from training directly from the manufactures and also the finance companies that we use.
Although this is a position that requires a great deal of personal effort and enthusiasm from the successful candidates, they will have the benefit of working alongside a vastly experienced Senior Account Manager in the business, this will ensure your learning and development is continuous as well as giving you the chance to work alongside someone that constantly achieves.
Initially, you will work alongside a Senior Account Manager and be responsible for generating appointments/interest from perspective customers. When a customer has shown an interest in the products and services that Apogee has to offer, it would be the successful candidate’s responsibility to visit the perspective client on a fact finding exercise to ascertain the clients current set-up/costs and what they are looking for moving forwards (you will not be required to close deals at this stage).
Once you have completed the initial client visit and we have established there is a need, you will pass the details over to the Senior Account Manager, who will offer the appropriate solution for the customer and ultimately, push to get the deal done. You will still support the Senior Account Manager at this stage, although there will be no emphasis to push the sale from your side.
Ultimately, we are looking for candidates who have the aspirations to be the best and are keen on progressing up the career ladder! The basic salary for this role will be negotiable, depending on experience. You will receive a company car/car allowance, laptop, mobile and 10% bonus on any deals that you are involved in! Our business generates (on average) £10,000,000 per month in revenue, so there is a fantastic opportunity for career driven, money motivated individuals to enjoy huge success!
