Credit Controller

This is a great opportunity for an experienced credit controller to join a friendly and team focussed environment. This is a fast-paced customer centric team which has a ‘work hard play hard’ approach. Whilst being a highly targeted environment, there are many fun and creative initiatives in place which create a positive and team orientated place to work. There are themed focus days, team games and quizzes as well as a well-stocked prize cupboard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of a designated portfolio of customer accounts to ensure maximisation of cash performance
  • Collection of overdue accounts
  • Customer relationship development
  • Customer query investigation and resolution where applicable or on referral to the centralised specialised team
  • Proactive conversion of customer payments to Direct Debit
  • To be responsible for identifying potential areas of credit risk and minimising impact
  • Account maintenance and administration
  • To focus on individual and team level KPI’s and targets

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a credit control environment
  • Motivation and determination to succeed in a challenging and target driven function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a confident telephone manner
  • Conscientious with an ability to use own initiative and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build a sense of fun
