In September 2005 Apogee Directors, Barry Ferdinand and Jason Collins
visited Greenmead Special Needs School in Wandsworth, south-west
London. Having been inspired by the courage and determination of the
children attending the school, Barry and Jason agreed to donate £50 for
every machine Apogee sold during October, November and December 2005.
This initiative resulted in Apogee Corporation Ltd presenting a cheque
for £15,000 to Greenmead School in February 2006.The money will be put
towards buying a new specially adapted minibus to allow the children to
enjoy well deserved day trips and outings.
