Newley installed Apogee document workflow solution allows a leading FTSE100 accountants document production to become completely carbon neutral!!

The client, with has a network with more than 600 offices in 100 countries.

In late 2007 the client invited leading office equipment suppliers to tender for the supply & support of a full document workflow solution. They had a clear objective. As well as implementing a range of new equipment were keen to explore the environmental impact benefits the potential solution could bring to their business as well as gaining an insight into the areas of document solutions they had not yet considered.

Apogee were awarded sole supplier status for the clients' UK offices starting with their new flagship London office. Apogee's combination of innovation coupled with proven technology and an exemplary service record were all key in securing the contract.

Apogee custom designed a solution that would offer the customer the functionality and flexability they required whilst improving employee efficiency and perhaps more importantly completely reducing their document related cabon emmissions to nil!

Utilising the latest Ricoh multifunctional devices and Equitrac software, Apogee designed a solution that completely manages document output. The solution utilises the "FollowYou" printing features of Equitrac allowing a user to print to a non-specific device and then walk to any multifunctional device within the campus and release their prints in one go with a simple wave of their proximity card.

Additionally before the jobs are released the Apogee solution removes any blank pages and ensures the job is optimised for minimal toner consumption without comprimising quality.

Every single copy, print, scan & fax is monitored and recorded to ensure the customers have complete transparency of their document throughput. Using the intuitive reporting software our clients can easily analyse their document production costs by department, machine and individual.

Jobs that are sent to the server and not released after 24hours are simply deleted. You would be amazed how many non-necessary prints are never collected from a printer!
