About Bookham Colts
Bookham FC was set up prior to the 1914-18 war, when it was known as the "Bookham Blues" but it was not until 1921 that the club became affiliated to the Surrey FA. Of Bookham's 25 teams, 22 play in the Epsom & Ewell Youth Football League, 2 play in the Surrey Primary League and 1 in the Surrey Youth & Under 21s League.
Bookham play for fun and not for winning at all costs. They firmly believe that their players enjoy their experiences in football above all else and that playing in the beautiful game is a lesson for life.
The Colts is primarily run by an army of devoted parents, with help from professional coaches. They are currently striving to gain FA Charter Standard, which ensures that the club is well structured and offers their players an environment where they can progress and enjoy their football.
