As print partner to the Prudential RideLondon event, Apogee provided a fleet of document technology at ExCeL London, The Mall and several other organisers’ locations across London at last weekend’s cycling festival.
For the fourth successive year the festival organisers asked Apogee to supply document infrastructure they could rely upon and a team of Apogee document professionals provided the festival with fully managed high-performance print technology. Delivery and logistics crews and skilled engineers were involved in the set up prior to the event, preparing all the hardware, software, consumables and spare parts required and were on-site throughout the weekend to ensure the event ran smoothly and the organisers had everything they needed.
“It takes an enormous amount of planning and preparation to deliver this good a performance over the festival weekend but the attention to detail in these stages, plus the expertise of all our Apogee team on-site over the weekend really paid off for us and the organisers in this fourth year of the event” commented Gary Downey, Apogee’s Group Marketing Director.
Prudential RideLondon is the world’s greatest festival of cycling, with more than 100,000 cyclists, including some of the world’s top professionals, cycling more than three million miles over three days in events held across London and Surrey. Since 2013, when it was first developed by the Mayor of London, the cycling festival now boasts the largest prize fund available for a one day race and has also recently been awarded WorldTour status by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
