Apogee Appoint Group Sales Director

Apogee Corporation is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Holvey as National Group Sales Director effective as of 4th January 2011.  Phil has an impressive track record within the office solutions industry with an experience spanning more than 20 years.

Phil has joined us from Ricoh UK Ltd (formerly IKON Office Solutions Plc) where he held the position of National Sales Director - Midland & North Region. Whilst with Ricoh, Phil was responsible for a sales revenue budget of in excess of £20m across a sales force of 70 plus.

Phil has enjoyed a distinguished career within IKON, demonstrating continued growth and improved profitability year on year.  Phil has a degree in Business Studies as well as several qualifications in Business Management and Strategic Leadership.  Living centrally in Newark-on-Trent, Phil will be responsible for sales strategy, management and performance nationally with a key focus on growing our existing business, developing new sales opportunities and improving profitability throughout the country as a whole.

The appointment of Phil represents an exciting development for Apogee and follows sharply in the footsteps of the appointment of high profile Non-Executive Chairman, Roger Goodman, earlier this month.     At a time when many competitors are struggling to maintain growth, recent developments at Apogee stand to the contrary and further demonstrate the management team's resolve to grow the business to become the UK leader in digital office solutions market.
