Apogee Corporation Ltd is delighted to announce that we have completed the acquisition of Kon-x Wales Limited.
With headquarters in Bangor, Kon-x Wales is the leading provider of office printing solutions in North Wales and has a client base that reaches across the North West and Midlands. An independent managed service provider founded in 2005, Kon-x Wales provides print and document hardware and software from multiple manufacturers and supports an installed base of over 2,000 devices.
The Kon-x Wales operation will be fully integrated into the Apogee Group and Kon-x Directors Aled Williams and Arwel Griffiths will continue to lead the business in Bangor.
Jason Collins, Apogee Joint CEO said “This is a great acquisition for Apogee as it gives us a new operations hub in North Wales and local staff with valuable expertise. Kon-x Wales is an excellent business with very strong client relationships and a reputation for superb local service and we are looking forward to welcoming them into the Apogee Group to drive our growth in this part of the country.”
Aled Williams, one of the founders and Director of Kon-x Wales commented “It’s been an exciting journey since we set the Kon-x business up back in 2005 and I’m very proud of what we have achieved. This next phase will take us up into the next level, as part of the Apogee Group we will be in a much stronger position to win larger client contracts and introduce a wider range of document solutions to our existing clients.”
This is the first of several acquisitions Apogee Corporation will complete this year to drive growth in the UK and Europe.
