HID CARD
A plastic swipe card using wireless contact technology also sometimes referred to as a proxy swipe card. Unlike traditional magnetic strip and chip & pin cards, HID cards do not require users to place the card in a reader but merely be close to the receiver in question. HID cards are commonly used within the digital document solutions industry as a means of collecting a users print job through a FollowMe printing solution.
