document workflow Equitrac Office / Equitrac Express / Equitrac Professional is a suite of software solutions designed to manage, control and audit document workflows within a network environment. Once implemented, the Equitrac solution will monitor all prints, scans & copies produced on the selected fleet of printers, photocopiers, MFD and MFP devices.

With all document transactions running through the Equitrac suite, the solution is then able to record data on usage levels, cost, owners etc. Additionally, the solution can intercept the job and apply various “rules” to it – for example only allowing large colour print jobs to be completed on high volume printers etc.

The introduction of an Equitrac solutions enables a business to enforce a managed print strategy whereby all document production activity is subject to controls and cost visibility. Additionally the Equitrac solution can enable a new guise of print output called “FollowMe Printing”. FollowMe printing allows users to send their documents to a non-specific output device and then pick any enabled printer, MFD, photocopier or MFP in the network and “release” their job to it by means of a pin number or swipe card perhaps.
