DOCUMENT SOLUTION / DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS
A fairly broad terminology relating to hardware and software responsible for the production, management, distribution, capture and storage of hard and soft copy documents. Some of the most understood and typical “buzz words” of document solutions include the hardware devices such as MFP, digital photocopiers, multi-functional devices, MFD, scanners and printers. These hardware devices form the bedrock of any digital document solution.
To further enhance document solutions, software applications are added bringing advance features and controls to the overall solution. When hardware and software are combined within a document solution it forms part of an overall print strategy or managed print solution.
