CTI – COMPUTER TELEPHONY INTEGRATION
CTI is the process of integrating telephone system / telephone exchange hardware and software with existing business applications and software packages.
Through the use of bespoke customisation applications, digital office solutions providers are able to construct powerful unified communications platforms to enable rapid and informed communication throughout your business.
A typical example of a CTI solution would be to integrate an organisations telephone system with their customer relationship management (CRM) platform so that when a customer calls the business, end users are presented with detailed CRM information before they have even answered the ringing phone.
